The last 60 years, especially the last 30 have led to incredible discoveries on Earth and beyond, by human minds. The context of what humans thought they knew and believed for Millenia has shifted. Scientists believe the universe we exist in is around 93 billion light years across and the odds are that we share it with billions, possibly trillions of other intelligent life forms. But incredible distances and the fragility of our solar system and planet are likely to remain major barriers to ever confirming this.
I am an observer of how humankind dominates humankind by promoting superstition, uncertainty and fear. I grew up absorbing information given as knowledge but developed perspective which learned to challenge information and assumed knowledge with contradictory evidenced knowledge.
