The track serves as the powerful lead single from their forthcoming studio record, recorded in Los Angeles. Following viral teasers on social media that sent fans into a frenzy, “Eye of the Storm” immediately detonated across global streaming platforms and rock radio. Formed in 2005, Five Finger Death Punch has established themselves as one of the most dominant forces in modern heavy metal and hard rock. Over twenty years, the band has achieved phenomenal milestones, including:

Their latest venture into the studio follows the release of their Best Of – Volume 1 and Best Of – Volume 2 collections, which featured newly re-recorded renditions of their biggest anthems—a creative move prompted by the unauthorized sale of their original master recordings.
A Sonic Evolution Rooted in Aggression
Speaking on the creative process behind the new record, founding guitarist and songwriter Zoltan Bathory revealed that the band spent nearly three years crafting material. The group initially developed around thirty distinct tracks before whittling the selection down to roughly fourteen or fifteen songs, even briefly weighing the idea of a double album.
Bathory highlighted that the new material stands out as some of the band’s heaviest output in years, infused with a distinct cinematic atmosphere. He noted that the writing process brought them full circle back to the raw, visceral bite and aggression that defined their early releases, such as 2007’s The Way of the Fist. Combined with lead singer Ivan Moody’s soaring vocal performances and compelling lyrical delivery, the new music marks a bold return to their roots while simultaneously pushing into uncharted artistic territories.
The 20th Anniversary World Tour Takes Off
To honor their 20-year history, Five Finger Death Punch has embarked on a multi-year 20th Anniversary World Tour produced by Live Nation. The massive global run will showcase fresh material from their upcoming tenth album alongside the multi-platinum classic anthems that built their legacy.
Supporting U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Athletes
Beyond delivering high-octane stadium performances, Five Finger Death Punch continues to build on their extensive legacy of charitable giving. Historically known for contributing over a million dollars to combat youth homelessness, support suicide prevention, and aid military veterans and first responders, the band is launching a brand-new philanthropic initiative in 2026.
A portion of ticket sales from the current North American tour will directly support high-performance training programs for Team USA’s Olympic and Paralympic athletes as they prepare for international competition leading up to the 2028 Games in Los Angeles.
