Gyles Brandreth Returns to Edinburgh Fringe 2026 with New Memory-Themed Show

The Edinburgh Festival Fringe is about to get a major dose of storytelling charm. Renowned broadcaster, author, and TV personality Gyles Brandreth is set to make his highly anticipated return to the festival this August with a brand-new live production titled Up Memory Lane!.

Taking place at the Gordon Aikman Theatre in Assembly George Square from August 5th to August 30th at 4:00 PM, the show promises a blend of personal history, scientific curiosity, and interactive entertainment.

A Podcast Favorite Takes to the Stage

For this upcoming run, Brandreth will not be alone on stage. In an exciting first, he will be accompanied by Harriet Jaine, the producer behind his highly successful podcast, Rosebud.

The podcast, which debuted in late 2023 and climbed to the top of the charts by 2025, centers around a fascinating premise: interviewing high-profile guests about their very earliest childhood memories.
