Infinite Coles has emerged as one of New York’s most captivating contemporary artists. SweetFace Killah, a 12-track collection, highlights his natural vocal talent and bold, unfiltered approach to songwriting. The project reflects his journey as a queer African American navigating personal struggles, family legacy, and self-acceptance within the shadow of hip-hop royalty. Produced in collaboration with Zach Witness (known for work with Doechii, Frank Ocean, and Erykah Badu), the album blends experimental sounds with deep roots in Vogue-Ballroom culture, delivering a celebration of identity, resilience, and unapologetic joy.

“DMs” – An Ice-Cold Anthem Against the Haters

The single “DMs” is a high-energy afro-house banger that serves as a defiant middle finger to online trolls and negative messages. Bursting with swagger and queer confidence, the track addresses those flooding his inbox with hate, turning frustration into an empowering, dancefloor-ready statement of self-assurance. Its lyrics confront jealousy, homophobia, and unsolicited judgment head-on, reaffirming Infinite’s refusal to dim his light.

“DMs” follows September’s powerful double single release of the title track “SweetFaceKillah” and the deeply personal “Dad & I.” The former, a bouncy R&B-house cut, went viral across social media, earning praise from figures including 50 Cent, Diplo, Joe Rogan, A$AP Ferg, SWV, and Hayley Williams of Paramore. It sparked an open verse challenge and widespread media coverage, cleverly reclaiming a homophobic slur used against him by trolls and transforming it into an anthem of pride and defiance.

“Dad & I,” meanwhile, paid homage to 90s hip-hop soul in the tradition of Mary J. Blige, delivering raw, emotional vocals in what felt like an open letter to his estranged father, Wu-Tang Clan legend Ghostface Killah, whom Infinite has not seen or spoken to in over a decade.

Album Highlights and Earlier Singles

SweetFace Killah also includes previously released summer singles “BGM” and the acclaimed “Boots Ballroom C*nt Mix” featuring Maleigh Zan and Julz, which Clash described as a bold manifesto of serving and self-expression. Other standout tracks range from the booty-bass energy of “Shoot,” encouraging haters to loosen up and enjoy the night, to soulful moments like the afro-house ode to mothers in “Mama Song,” the gratitude-filled R&B cut “Thankful,” and the stirring piano ballad “Body Strong.”

Infinite Coles

Raised within the orbit of Wu-Tang Clan as the son of Ghostface Killah and nephew of RZA, Infinite Coles first gained attention through the cult short film Gang, dubbed a modern voguing-era take on Saturday Night Fever. That visibility led to a collaboration with XL Recordings’ Richard Russell on the Everything Is Recorded project alongside Sampha, Syd, and Kamasi Washington.

His 2021 debut EP Destiny, a tribute to his late twin sister, featured contributions from Sampha, CKTRL, and Wiki, earning strong acclaim from NME, Crack, Mixmag, and others. With SweetFace Killah, Infinite Coles steps fully into his own as a singular force—authentic, fearless, and impossible to ignore.
