On The Table Read Magazine, “the best arts and entertainment magazine UK“, Jamie Webster announces his reflective fourth album, Running Round The Sun, alongside a massive intimate UK tour starting this September.
Jamie Webster is stepping into a deeply reflective era of his career, marked by hard-earned experience, self-acceptance, and creative maturity. Following a decade that saw the independent singer-songwriter rise from playing Liverpool pubs as a full-time electrician to performing in front of tens of thousands of fans, Webster is ready for his next major evolution.
His journey began with viral streaming success and a landmark debut album, We Get By, which topped the UK Official Folk Album Chart in 2020. Since then, he has built a massive nationwide following with acclaimed releases like Moments and the UK Top Five album 10 For The People. Now, he is channelling that rich history into a brand-new body of work.
Introducing Fourth Album Running Round The Sun and Single ‘Just Begun’
The singer’s fourth studio album, Running Round The Sun, is officially confirmed for release on Friday, 4 September 2026, via Modern Sky. The 12-track record was shaped by recording sessions at the legendary Rockfield and Mission Sound Studios in South Wales and New York, continuing Webster’s collaboration with production team Dave Eringa and Tim Cunningham.
The album’s opening track and lead single, ‘Just Begun’, sets the tone for a project focused on navigating life’s pressures, mental wellbeing, community, and personal identity. Rather than offering quick gut reactions, the new material encourages thoughtful responses, aligning closely with the hopes and fears of listeners.
