Dark Passenger

UK hard rock powerhouse Lost Asylum released their electrifying new single and music video, Dark Passenger, on July 18, 2025. The track is a blistering taste of their upcoming EP, Shock Treatment, slated for release on November 21, 2025. Known for their high-octane performances, soaring vocals, hard-hitting guitars, and pulsating rhythms, Lost Asylum are poised to cement their place in the hard rock scene with this release.

Lost Asylum

Formed in Sussex in 2015, Lost Asylum’s journey began when guitarist Darren Potts sought to create a new heavy rock outfit. After recruiting drummer Danny Wilder from a previous project, Potts connected with fellow guitarist Steve Clark, sparking the decision to embrace a dual-guitar setup for a fuller, more aggressive sound. The band cycled through various vocalists until 2019, when Clark discovered frontman Ryan O’Donovan at a Brighton open mic. O’Donovan, a dynamic performer affiliated with Brighton’s learning disabled community through the charity Carousel, brought his autistic spectrum perspective and raw vocal talent to the fold, perfectly embodying the band’s intense image.

The lineup was finalized in late 2024 with the addition of bassist Grog, a former bandmate of Wilder’s from Texas Flood and Flood. Together, the quintet—Steve Clark (guitars), Grog (bass), Danny Wilder (drums), Ryan O’Donovan (vocals), and Darren Potts (guitars)—delivers a sonic assault defined by hypnotic songwriting and unrelenting energy.

Dark Passenger showcases Lost Asylum’s signature blend of powerful riffs, thunderous rhythms, and O’Donovan’s soaring vocals. The single sets the stage for Shock Treatment, an EP that promises to capture the band’s raw intensity and stage-ready ferocity. Fans can expect a high-energy music video to accompany the release, amplifying the band’s reputation for gripping live performances.

With their lineup complete and their sound sharper than ever, Lost Asylum are ready to hit the stage hard and leave audiences reeling. Keep an eye on this rising UK hard rock act as they unleash Dark Passenger and gear up for Shock Treatment. For more details, check out their official channels and get ready to join the Asylum.
