In “Lost My Name,” multifaceted artist Josette Celeste—an American poet, actress, adventurer, and travel writer weaves a deeply introspective tapestry of vulnerability, passion, and existential searching. Drawing from her experiences as a traveler and creative spirit, she invites readers into the turbulent inner world of a woman stripped bare by time, love, and fate, yet fiercely reaching for meaning amid chaos and quiet restraint.
Lost My Name

I am naked in words and rhyme,
Clothed in a red dress, caught in time.
I am empty, have lost my name,
I keep trying and dying in the game.
Round and round, yet standing still,
Climb the steps, tumble the hill.
A whirlwind spins, its path innate,
I press my body to the stone-clad gate.
I am the girl trembling for Heaven’s why,
Reaching for a hand no longer nigh.
I am the girl who loves in hush,
Turning restraint into a fleeting blush.
The cliffs crumble beneath me, I spin, I lean,
A dragon coils within a breast of trust unseen.
I wait, breath held, against the night,
For a different hand I cannot claim tonight.
I love in the dragon’s flame, a pulse untamed,
I am the woman who stands in the rain—
And I question synchronicity for destiny again and again.
