Wolf Man

In Leigh Whannell’s “Wolf Man,” Christopher Abbott (“Poor Things,” “It Comes at Night”) portrays Blake, a man who relocates his workaholic wife, Charlotte (Julia Garner, “Ozark,” “Inventing Anna”), and their young daughter, Ginger, to his inherited childhood home in Oregon.

Their idyllic escape takes a terrifying turn when they are viciously attacked by a werewolf, leaving Blake with a deep claw wound. As the family barricades themselves inside the farmhouse, a chilling transformation begins to overtake Blake. His eyes turn a chilling yellow, his strength surges, and a primal hunger consumes him.

Now, Charlotte and Ginger must fight for their survival against not only the unseen beast lurking outside but also the monstrous creature emerging from within their own home.

Directed and co-written by Whannell (“The Invisible Man,” “Upgrade,” “Insidious: Chapter 3”) and produced by Jason Blum, “Wolf Man” was released by Universal Pictures in the US on January 17, 2025.
