Log cabin-born but Jersey-bred, Mistine—born Christine Meisenhelter—has carved out a unique space in the pop/rock landscape. Her music blends the rhythm and warmth of classic rock with angsty pop sincerity, drawing inspiration from icons like Aerosmith, Taylor Swift, and Avril Lavigne, as well as modern trailblazers like The 1975 and Maggie Rogers. The result is a sound that feels both timeless and fresh, earning her spots on coveted Spotify playlists like Barefoot in the Park and New Pop Picks, Apple Music’s New in Alternative, and third-party playlists like OnestoWatch #NowWatching. Her work has also been celebrated by outlets such as LADYGUNN, Earmilk, Bass Magazine, Atwood Magazine, and Luna Collective.

Mistine’s journey into music began in third grade, sparked by a serendipitous moment watching Piglet’s Big Movie, where Carly Simon’s guitar-strumming performance ignited her passion. From there, she pursued her craft with unwavering dedication, studying at USC’s Thornton School of Music and touring with artists like Conan Gray, aespa, BiigPiig, Meg Smith, WiztheMC, Zeph, McKenna Grace, Haiden Henderson, INJI, and Sierra Spirit. A recent performance on The Kelly Clarkson Show alongside McKenna Grace further cemented her rising star status.
