On The Table Read Magazine, “the best arts and entertainment magazine UK“, join healers for a free, one-hour Collective Meditation for Peace on Zoom, inspired by the monks’ Walk for Peace, to unite globally in sending waves of love, harmony, and higher vibrations to heal our world from hate and division.
In a world often overshadowed by conflict and division, acts of collective intention offer a powerful counterforce. On Saturday, February 7, 2026, a free global online event called Collective Meditation for Peace invites people everywhere to join in a shared hour of meditation, aimed at spreading peace, love, and higher vibrations across the planet.
Inspiration from the Monks’ Epic Journey
This initiative draws direct inspiration from the remarkable Walk for Peace, an ongoing 2,300-mile pilgrimage undertaken by 24 Buddhist monks from the Huong Dao Vipassana Bhavana Center in Fort Worth, Texas. Accompanied by their beloved rescue dog Aloka, the monks began their journey on October 26, 2025, walking barefoot in parts and moving at a meditative pace through multiple states toward a planned arrival in Washington, D.C. in mid-February 2026.

Their pilgrimage promotes peace, compassion, loving-kindness, and nonviolence, engaging communities along the way through quiet presence, prayers, chants, and simple symbols like protective bracelets. The monks’ dedicated steps have captured widespread attention, reminding people of the transformative power of mindful, peaceful action in the face of global challenges.
A Synchronized Hour of Healing
To align with and amplify the monks’ efforts, a dedicated group of healing practitioners has organized the Collective Meditation for Peace. Scheduled for 8 a.m. Eastern Time (U.S.) on February 7, 2026—coinciding with the broader momentum of the Walk for Peace—this free, one-hour Zoom session brings together six experienced healers from the United States and United Kingdom. They are generously donating their time and energy to guide participants in sending waves of peace and love outward.

The featured practitioners include:
- Gregg Kirk, a healer and author known for his work in energy healing, gratitude practices, and guided meditations focused on health and spiritual protection.
- Bessy Goulianos
- Chrissie Wright
- Carly Melchert
- Claire Seaglass
- Charlotte Yeates
These facilitators will lead a gentle, collective experience designed to foster group consciousness and energetic harmony.

The Power of Collective Intention
The core hope behind the event is simple yet profound: when enough people come together in focused intention—even for just one hour—the shared energy can create a ripple effect. By raising the planet’s “vibration” through peace and love, participants aim to counteract hate, anger, and division. This draws on principles seen in group meditation studies and spiritual traditions, where collective focus is believed to influence broader consciousness and well-being.
No prior experience is needed. Organizers encourage everyone to participate in whatever way feels comfortable: sit on a pillow, light a favorite candle, or simply settle into a quiet space. The emphasis is on openness and presence.
