Promoted by Hot Water Comedy Club

The tour is promoted by Hot Water Comedy Club, one of the UK’s leading comedy promoters and venues.
Founded in 2010 by brothers Paul and Binty Blair, Hot Water began in a small nightclub in Liverpool city centre and quickly outgrew its early homes. After stints at The Crown Inn and the Holiday Inn, the club opened Liverpool’s first purpose-built comedy venue on Seel Street in December 2016. A second venue, the iconic Magnet on Hardman Street, followed in July 2018.
In 2024, Hot Water took its biggest leap forward with the opening of Blackstock Market, a major multi-use destination featuring a purpose-built comedy space alongside bars, street food, and live entertainment.
Over the years, Hot Water has hosted global comedy giants including Dave Chappelle, Jason Manford, and John Bishop. Today it boasts one of the largest digital audiences of any comedy venue in the world, with its content regularly reaching millions of viewers across social media.
HAPPY by Paul Smith is the latest example of Hot Water Comedy Club’s continued commitment to bringing the very best in live comedy to audiences at home and abroad.
