Summer consists of Northern Irish Paddy Conn (formerly of the indie pop band Swimming Tapes) and English vocalist Angelina Dove.

Sharing a love for the past, Remember Summer crafts their nostalgic dream pop with dusty synths and wistful lyrics. Their songs evoke the bittersweet beauty of fleeting summer moments, capturing the magic of long lost nights and the solitude of a desert road trip.

The pair met in the summer of 2016 while working at a London café, where they began collaborating on music to pass the time.

Summer of ‘16 became the year of collaboration for Paddy and I. We started swapping ideas at work. It all started as a bit of fun really, sort of a distraction to stem boredom but when the cafe went bust the following year and we both got fired we realised that we’d started something we missed more than frying eggs. Since we live 5 minutes away from each other we’ve kept it up. This is ‘Remember Summer’.

As Remember embarks on a new musical chapter, they’re unveiling their latest project: a folk-inspired cover of Miley Cyrus’ iconic anthem, “Wrecking Ball.” The duo’s rendition infuses the modern pop track with a vintage-soaked charm, showcasing their distinctive sound.

With their warm vocals and raw synths, Remember Summer adds a unique twist to the well-loved song, creating a nostalgic and captivating interpretation.

Metaphorically spot on; I think I’m an ‘exploding doormat’ personality type. A really long fuse, but once it’s lit…Wrecking Ball resonated with me, I feel like I’ve been there. The explosions, the disappointment, indifference even.
