Universal Studios Hollywood is joining forces with iconic Grammy® Award-winning guitarist and songwriter SLASH to deliver a spine-chilling array of original experiences for Halloween Horror Nights, kicking off on Thursday, September 4, 2025. Exclusive to the Hollywood destination, this collaboration introduces a haunting new haunted house score, a limited-edition vinyl album, and a themed bar, amplifying the terror and excitement for fans of both SLASH and the annual event.

For the seventh consecutive year, SLASH has composed an original score for a Halloween Horror Nights haunted house, this time for “Scarecrow: Music by SLASH.” The haunted house centers on Mother Nature’s wrath, with vengeful scarecrows acting as silent guardians of destruction, punishing those who dare to cross their path. SLASH’s score, crafted with the precision of a film soundtrack, intensifies the eerie atmosphere, guiding guests through the ominous corridors with an unsettling sense of dread.

Exclusive Vinyl Album Release

Adding to the frightful festivities, Halloween Horror Nights will feature the vinyl-only release of SLASH: Music of Universal Studios Hollywood – Halloween Horror Nights, Volume 2. This album follows the success of last year’s sold-out vinyl and compiles original music SLASH created for various Universal Studios Hollywood haunted houses over the past six years.

The album includes tracks like “The Hunted Becomes The Hunter” and “Bloodline Drawn,” composed for experiences such as Universal Monsters: The Bride of Frankenstein Lives and Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines. Available for purchase at Universal Studios Hollywood, the album also features a tribute by John Murdy, Creative Director and Executive Producer of Halloween Horror Nights.

SLASH-Themed Bar Experience

Guests can immerse themselves further in SLASH’s world at the dedicated SLASH Bar, located at Jurassic Cove above Jurassic World—The Ride. The bar offers a selection of cocktails inspired by SLASH’s music, such as “The Danse of the Dead” and “Beautiful Dangerous,” alongside a non-alcoholic option, “SLASH’s Snakepit.” The menu highlights SLASH’s favorite flavors with dishes like Chicken Satay Tacos, Thai Beef Tacos, Thai Curry Tacos, and a SLASH Hat cake modeled after his iconic top hat.

Adding to the eerie ambiance, a stilt-walking SLASH-inspired scare-actor, complete with curly black locks and a top hat, will haunt the area, taunting guests. Note that guests must be 21 or older with a valid photo ID to purchase alcoholic beverages.
