On The Table Read Magazine, “the best arts and entertainment magazine UK“, Stamptown, Zach Zucker’s anarchic, raunchy variety spectacle featuring unhinged clowning, surprise celebrity drop-ins, and pure chaotic energy, tapes its first-ever Netflix special live at The Montalbán Theatre during Netflix Is A Joke Fest.
Stamptown
Stamptown, the wildly popular and boundary-pushing live comedy event, is set to make its screen debut with a standalone Netflix special. The filming will take place during this year’s Netflix Is A Joke Festival in Los Angeles, capturing the show’s signature energy for global audiences.

A Cult Favorite Goes Mainstream
Created by comedian Zach Zucker, Stamptown has built a devoted following through its high-octane, unpredictable performances. Zucker hosts as his chaotic alter ego, Jack Tucker, guiding the audience through a whirlwind of clowning, character work, sketches, and late-night-style mayhem. The show features an ever-rotating cast of alternative comedians from across the globe, ensuring no two nights are ever the same.
What sets Stamptown apart is its immersive, interconnected world—often described as a “Stamptown Cinematic Universe.” Performers build on recurring characters, ongoing sketches, and spontaneous collaborations that only exist within the show’s ecosystem. This collaborative, in-the-moment creation transforms it from a standard variety show into something far more anarchic and theatrical.

A History of Sold-Out Runs and Star Power
Since starting in underground venues and late-night spots, Stamptown has evolved into a global phenomenon. It has enjoyed successful runs at major festivals including the Edinburgh Fringe and Melbourne Comedy Festival. The show has also made appearances in cities like London, New York, and Los Angeles.
Over the years, it has attracted surprise guest appearances from notable names in comedy and entertainment. Past drop-ins have included performers such as Neil Patrick Harris, Richard Kind, David Cross, Karen Gillan, Richard Gadd, Mae Martin, Reggie Watts, Hannah Einbinder, Bridget Christie, Rosie Jones, Lolly Adefope, BriTANicK, Jamie Demetriou, Rachel Sennott, Natalie Palamides, and Alex Edelman.
Critics have praised its intense, party-like atmosphere, with descriptions highlighting its overwhelming and unforgettable nature.

The Netflix Milestone
For the first time, Stamptown will be preserved on camera. The special will be recorded over two nights at The Montalbán Theatre in Hollywood on May 8 and 9, 2026, with each performance starting at 7:00 PM. These shows are part of the Netflix Is A Joke Festival, which runs from May 4 to 10, 2026, and features hundreds of comedy events across the city.
Zucker will lead the proceedings in character as Jack Tucker, whose high-energy presence drives the show’s disparate elements together. The production team includes director Rachel Lee Goldenberg and production from Stamptown alongside Abso Lutely (known for projects with Tim & Eric, Eric Andre, and Nathan For You). Zucker serves as executive producer, with co-development credits going to Jonny Woolley, Dylan Woodley, Jeremy Elder, and Cory Peter Lane.
The special is slated for release on Netflix later in 2026, bringing the show’s raucous spirit to viewers worldwide who may never have experienced it live.
This move represents a significant step for Stamptown, transitioning its cult live success into a broader streaming platform while preserving the chaotic, collaborative essence that has defined it from the beginning. Fans can look forward to seeing this one-of-a-kind spectacle captured in full force.
