On The Table Read Magazine, “the best arts and entertainment magazine UK“, experience a thrilling, immersive reimagining of Virginia Woolf’s Mrs Dalloway as Olivier Award-winner Kit Green and visionary director Jen Heyes bring Clarissa’s unforgettable party bursting to life in a bold world premiere at Storyhouse, Chester, from 29 May–6 June 2026 – before it tours the UK.
Mrs Dalloway
A daring and immersive new stage adaptation of Virginia Woolf’s groundbreaking novel Mrs Dalloway will receive its world premiere at Storyhouse in Chester next spring, before heading out on a major UK tour.
The production runs at Storyhouse’s main theatre from 29 May to 6 June 2026. Tickets are on sale now, with prices starting at £18 for Storyhouse Members.

A Bold Contemporary Reimagining
This vivid reworking of Woolf’s classic has been co-created by award-winning director Jen Heyes and Olivier Award-winning writer-performer Kit Green, who also takes on the central role of Clarissa Dalloway alongside a gallery of other vivid characters.
Set across one transformative day in London, the story weaves together memory, identity, love, loss and survival. The result is a funny, moving and visually striking celebration of what it means to be human.
The Creative Team
Jen Heyes brings her signature cinematic style to the production, blending striking visuals with emotional depth. Her internationally acclaimed work includes the globally touring Truth to Power Café (US premiere at Lincoln Center, New York), the award-nominated digital/physical hybrid HEDDA (after Ibsen), the West End hit Epstein: The Man Who Made The Beatles, and the sell-out Blood Wedding at Liverpool Playhouse.

Kit Green is a multi-disciplinary artist whose career spans theatre, cabaret, comedy, music and broadcast. An Olivier Award winner and founder member of the influential Duckie collective, Green has created iconic characters for BBC Radio 4 and television, devised experiential shows such as Prurience and Office Party, and most recently appeared in the touring contemporary classical work The Faggots and Their Friends Between Revolutions. This month sees the release of their second solo album Four Letter Words, a collaboration with classical musician Yshani Perinpanayagam.

A Unique Sensory Experience
The production fuses drama, uplifting live music, laughter and reflection to plunge audiences directly into Clarissa Dalloway’s world and her famous party. Described as entertaining, visually exciting and deeply resonant with today’s joys and struggles, this Mrs Dalloway aims to capture the radical, daring spirit of Woolf’s original while speaking urgently to contemporary audiences.
Co-Production and Partnership
Mrs Dalloway is a collaboration between Storyhouse, Harlow Playhouse and CutToTheChase Productions. Developed at Storyhouse over the past two years, the creative team has worked closely to bring a fresh and accessible take on the modernist masterpiece to the stage.
Suzie Henderson, Creative Director at Storyhouse, highlighted the excitement of premiering the work in Chester and sharing it across the country, praising the brilliance of Heyes and Green and the partnership with Harlow Playhouse and CutToTheChase Productions.

I have noticed that of all varieties of insurance, medical health insurance is the most marked by controversy because of the struggle between the insurance plan company’s duty to remain making money and the customer’s need to have insurance cover. Insurance companies’ profits on overall health plans are extremely low, consequently some corporations struggle to make a profit. Thanks for the tips you talk about through this blog.
Thank you for another informative blog. Where else could I get that type of info written in such a perfect way? I’ve a project that I am just now working on, and I have been on the look out for such info.
I believe that a foreclosure can have a major effect on the borrower’s life. House foreclosures can have a 6 to a decade negative effect on a client’s credit report. The borrower who may have applied for home financing or almost any loans even, knows that your worse credit rating is, the more hard it is to secure a decent mortgage loan. In addition, it could affect a borrower’s chance to find a reasonable place to let or hire, if that will become the alternative houses solution. Thanks for your blog post.

With havin so much content and articles do you ever run into any issues of plagorism or copyright infringement? My site has a lot of completely unique content I’ve either authored myself or outsourced but it looks like a lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my permission. Thanks for your post on the vacation industry. I would also like to include that if you are one senior thinking about traveling, it can be absolutely important to buy travel insurance for golden-agers. When traveling, elderly people are at high risk of getting a healthcare emergency. Obtaining the right insurance policies package for one’s age group can protect your health and give you peace of mind.

I have seen many useful factors on your site about desktops. However, I have got the judgment that lap tops are still not quite powerful sufficiently to be a good selection if you normally do projects that require lots of power, such as video enhancing. But for web surfing, microsoft word processing, and majority of other frequent computer work they are okay, provided you cannot mind your little friend screen size. Thank you for sharing your opinions.

One thing I would really like to say is before purchasing more pc memory, consider the machine in which it is installed. If your machine can be running Windows XP, for instance, a memory threshold is 3.25GB. Applying in excess of this would just constitute a waste. Make sure one’s mother board can handle an upgrade amount, as well. Interesting blog post.
