On The Table Read Magazine, “the best arts and entertainment magazine UK“, these Gen Z nepo babies are cashing in the most on Instagram, proving that genuine fan engagement beats sheer follower count every time.

In the world of social media influence, being born into fame may open doors—but genuine audience connection is what turns those opportunities into serious earnings. New research reveals the top Gen Z nepo babies (celebrity offspring born roughly between 1997 and 2012) and their estimated earning potential from sponsored Instagram posts.

New research from Winna, conducted using HypeAuditor’s Instagram Influencer Pricing Calculator, estimates earnings based on follower count and engagement rate (likes, comments, and other interactions relative to audience size). The findings are clear: high engagement often matters more than sheer number of followers when it comes to monetising influence.

Jaden Smith (son of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith) ranks second at £9,690 per post. Despite having the largest following in the study at 19 million, his lower 0.27% engagement rate places him just behind the top spot.

Sofia Richie Grainge (daughter of Lionel Richie) comes in third with £9,614 per post, driven by 11 million followers and a solid 2.73% engagement rate.

Brooklyn Beckham (son of David and Victoria Beckham) earns an estimated £7,942 per post with 16.1 million followers, though his 0.18% engagement rate limits his per-post value.

Gracie Abrams (daughter of filmmaker J.J. Abrams) rounds out the top five at £7,296 per post, thanks to 5.6 million followers and an impressive 7.38% engagement rate.

  • 10. Lila Moss — 875k followers, 7.66% engagement, £3,458/post

The data highlights a key insight: engagement rate can outweigh raw follower numbers. Influencers like Nico Parker (daughter of Thandiwe Newton) earn significantly with far fewer followers due to her exceptional 10.01% engagement. Similarly, Sam Nivola (son of Alessandro Nivola and Emily Mortimer) commands £1,406 per post with only 148k followers, thanks to the study’s highest engagement rate of 10.34%.

In contrast, low engagement can reduce earning potential regardless of follower count. For example, some accounts with millions of followers earn less per post than others with much smaller but highly active audiences.
