Mongolian Hunnu rock pioneers The Hu are officially turning the page on a bold creative chapter. The globally acclaimed band—consisting of Galaa, Jaya, Enkush, and Temka—have announced their eagerly awaited third full-length album, HUN, which released on July 24 via Better Noise Music.

The announcement arrives alongside a hypnotic new single, “Lost Soul,” featuring Jonny Hawkins of Nothing More. The collaboration marks the first time the Gold-certified global phenomenon has teamed up with Hawkins, bridging cultures and modern rock energy with traditional Mongolian instrumentation and throat singing.

Designed to echo the extremes of Mongolia’s fickle and unforgiving climate, the percussive, groove-laden soundscape of “Lost Soul” delivers a heavy, head-nodding riff. This instrumental intensity is balanced by a melodic refrain from Hawkins, whose infectious chorus anchors the track.

Seamlessly blending English-sung affirmations with traditional Mongolian chanting, the song carries a universal message of resilience, fortitude, and strength meant to resonate with fans across the globe.

Following prominent sync placements like “Sugaan Essena” in the video game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, The Hu recently contributed the track “Pray to the Sun” (featuring Declan de Barra) to the soundtrack for Netflix’s Japanese manga series One Piece.
