Seamus McKenna, a seasoned civil engineer with a distinguished career in harbor development, natural gas platform construction, and large-scale projects, brings his unique perspective to his debut novel, The Maker’s Name. Inspired by his experiences during the Celtic Tiger era, McKenna offers a captivating glimpse into the world of Irish construction and property development.

After obtaining an MBA from Trinity College, Dublin, McKenna’s career took an international turn. His return to Ireland coincided with the country’s economic boom, where he became deeply involved in the construction and property sectors. However, the global financial crisis of 2008-2010 brought his world crashing down, providing him with firsthand insight into the challenges and consequences of unchecked growth.

In addition to his successful engineering career, McKenna is a prolific writer.
