Multi-platinum pop-punk veterans Yellowcard have joined forces with global children’s entertainment icon Blippi for an unexpected musical crossover. Released via Better Noise Music, the duo has revamped Yellowcard’s current hit “Bedroom Posters” into a high-energy, kid-friendly anthem.

This marks the second time the two acts have collaborated, following their previous work on the track “Go Go Go,” and represents the third distinct recording of “Bedroom Posters” to be released.

Lines regarding tearing down bedroom posters have been flipped to encourage looking at them instead, with the vocalists harmonizing over themes of airplanes and rollercoasters.

The collaboration also extends Blippi’s ongoing “Year of Vehicles” celebration. The new lyrics highlight various machines that fascinate children, ranging from excavators and monster trucks to race cars.

The creative process involved Yellowcard providing an instrumental version of the track to the Blippi team, who then rewrote the lyrics to fit a child’s worldview.
