The index was compiled using six factors, with data standardized and weighted by importance: temperature difference from 25°C (15%), daylight duration (15%), precipitation per day (15%), hotel ratings (20%), weekly hotel price (10%), and percentage of 5-star reviews in winter (25%). Scores were calculated out of 100 to determine rankings, based on December 2024 to February 2025 data.
