Summer’s Here

Montreal-based singer-songwriter Annabel Gutherz has released her latest single, “Summer’s Here,” now available on all streaming platforms. The track captures the essence of summer with its blend of hazy guitar riffs, relaxed rhythms, and ethereal vocals. The song evokes a sense of nostalgia and spontaneity, painting a vivid picture of fleeting summer moments filled with warmth, love, and carefree days by the sea.

The creation of “Summer’s Here” began in the early days of June, sparked by a simple melody and a looping chord progression. Annabel brought these elements to a rehearsal, encouraging her band to play instinctively without hearing the melody beforehand. The result was a single, magical live take that forms the final version of the song. This raw, unpolished recording brims with the breezy, wistful energy of summer, preserving the authenticity of the moment.
