Swiss power metal band Bad Marilyn has officially revealed Nitte Valo as their new lead vocalist, marking an exciting new chapter for the rising act.

Nitte Valo Joins Bad Marilyn

The band expressed strong enthusiasm about welcoming Nitte Valo, known for her powerful performances with Battle Beast, Burning Point, After Infinity, and her current role with Dreamtale. Band Background and Rapid Rise

Formed in the summer of 2023 in Wangen an der Aare, Switzerland, Bad Marilyn quickly established themselves as a promising force in the European power metal scene. The quintet achieved impressive early success, surpassing 250,000 streams on Spotify within their first year and reaching the semifinals of the Wacken Metal Battle Switzerland in 2025.

Their music blends anthemic power metal with relentless energy, earning them a growing fanbase through dynamic live performances at major festivals including Brienzersee Rockfestival, Rock and Ride, and Metal Storm over Lucerne.

First Album Success

In May 2024, Bad Marilyn released their debut full-length album, Eye of the Snake. Produced by renowned studio expert Dennis Ward (known for his work with Helloween, Pink Cream 69, Angra, and Gus G), the record showcased the band’s ability to deliver catchy, powerful metal anthems and helped solidify their reputation in the underground metal community.

New Album Recording Plans

Bad Marilyn will head into Kangaroo/TrakShak Studios in Karlsdorf-Neuthard, Germany, in April 2026 to begin recording their second studio album. Once again, the sessions will be helmed by producer Dennis Ward, promising a continuation of the high-quality production that defined their debut.
