Art is said to take many different forms. That’s what DaVinciBand’s debut single, “Young Bands,” illustrates. DaVinciBands sees himself as more than just a rapper; rather, he sees himself as a true artist, the artist name DaVinciBands is a tribute to the great Leonardo da Vinci.

“Young Bands” has the bravado and boastfulness that are typical of Rap but also the hopeful and motivating lyrics that are prevalent in Hip-Hop; consequently, showing DaVinciBands’ flexibility, and expressive and creative ability.

In “Young Bands,” DaVinciBands shares his true story as he delves into his past, present, and future selves. The record is his first release following his break. He explained that he dropped one single last year following his EP because he allowed his depression and mental health to get the best of him, and he promised himself that once he started again, he wouldn’t stop again.

DaVinciBands’ flow and unmatched wordplay make his music standout. In “Young Bands,” the catchy hook and vulnerable yet hard-hitting lyrics combined with the perky, piano-bound instrumental, which was created by Bradley Moon, gives “Young Bands” much replay value. DaVinciBands’ upcoming album “DaVinciBlues,” which is scheduled for release later this year, has “Young Bands” as the lead single.

DaVinciBands

Malcolm Grant Jr., better known by his stage name DaVinciBands, is a musician who was raised in Lakeland, Florida, but was born in Miami, Florida. He initially used music as therapy and an outlet for his feelings, but he quickly realized that he had a genuine talent and began seriously studying music in 2020.

Since then, DaVinciBands has put out two singles and an EP. Numerous media outlets have paid attention to him because of his vulnerability when talking about difficult times and his struggles with mental health, as well as his clever, unparalleled wordplay. He makes his 2023 debut and return to prominence with “Young Bands,” which is a single from his upcoming album, “DaVinciBlues,” that will drop later this year.
