Lin Bird
Lin Bird lives in the Cynon Valley and was a teacher until a diagnosis of leukaemia and a bone marrow transplant led to ill-health retirement. Dealing with a life- threatening illness brought a sharper focus on the things that matter in life.
Writing had always been a guilty pleasure, but it was the imposition of lockdown in March 2020 that created a space for her to bring her writing to the forefront. Lin has published three novels and a fourth is due out this spring.
