On The Table Read Magazine, “the best entertainment magazine in the UK“, M. Byrd, a German singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist, has released his ethereal new single, Only A Feeling.

Only A Feeling

M. Byrd’s new track, Only A Feeling, which is powered by an old OP1 drum machine, tries to capture the essence of a panic attack in a song with airy guitars that move around a steady beat.

He explained that as he has a close friend who deals with panic attacks on a regular basis, he wanted to create something that represents how something can suddenly cause such a strong reaction in someone that they end up gasping for air. Even the drums express this lack of breath.

“Only A Feeling” follows the release of M. Byrd’s previous singles “Seed,” “Flood,” “Over You / Over Me” and “Outside Of Town,” all off his debut full-length album The Seed out June 16th.
