It is with deep sadness that we at The Table Read Magazine share the news of the passing of singer-songwriter Cat Janice at the age of 31.

Cat Janice first graced our pages in 2023 with her captivating story and infectious passion for music. We were immediately drawn to her powerful vocals and heartfelt lyrics, and we were proud to showcase her talent to our readers, and are proud to feature two of her tracks on our Spotify Playlist.

Cat’s journey with cancer was well documented on her social media platforms, where she displayed remarkable strength, courage, and an unwavering love for music. Her song “Dance You Outta My Head,” released in January 2024, resonated deeply with many, becoming a symbol of resilience and hope in the face of adversity.

Words seem inadequate to express the loss we feel. Cat’s talent and spirit shone brightly, and her music will undoubtedly continue to inspire and touch hearts for years to come.
