Teen Author, Nick Stitle, Launches Epic Fantasy Series With Debut Novel, Stormless

On The Table Read Magazine, “the best book magazine in the UK“, Nick Stitle, an inspiring 17-year-old author, is releasing Stormless, the first in a four-part series. Kirkus Reviews and NetGalley readers have already given the Young Adult epic fantasy novel high marks.

Stitle started Stormless when he was 15 years old. He woke up early every day to write before school, creating characters he could relate to and a new fantasy world. Stitle finished the first book in the Stormless series at the age of 17 after going through rounds of rigorous professional editing and getting helpful advice from people in the industry who wanted to help a young author.

The story happens in Auris, a universe of tempests and tumult where seven brutal Tempests rule the land, unleashing devastation across the mainland. An epic tale of magic, war, love, and loss is told through the eyes of three heroes in this series’ first book. Together, these people will alter Auris’ future for ever. As the main characters confront their destined ends, empires will crumble and Tempests will be Unbound, but fate will prevail.

Castien Varic is a soldier and a Stormless – somebody without sorcery – on an quest for the King. While trying to complete his mission, he suffers from severe anxiety and panic attacks. Prince Faelyn Titansworn  disagrees with his father, and must choose between his loyalty to Auris and to his family. Asteros Silverglade, on the other hand, is gaining insight into the enigmatic Vanishing that wiped out the Ancient Sects and created the Tempests two years ago. In a thrilling cliffhanger, the three protagonists’ paths meet, preparing the scene for the subsequent book in the series.

More than one person in Stormless battles with mental health issues, and Stitle doesn’t avoid the subjects of depression, anxiety, and panic attacks. He wants his readers to realize that they are not alone and can identify with his characters. Stitle’s heroes are flawed, complex and intriguing people.

After an injury, Nick Stitle was forced to quit playing tennis after his first year of secondary school, and he understood that was a potential chance to start sharing with the story he had been cautiously creating in his mind. When Stitle was 15 years old, he started writing Stormless. He woke up early every day to work on the story before school, creating characters and a new fantasy world. Stitle completed Stormless when he was 17 years old, incorporating helpful advice from industry professionals who wanted to assist the young author.

Stitle is currently planning books three and four in the series, and book two, The Fire King, is almost finished. He wants to motivate other young writers to pursue their goals. With his mother, father, older brother, and two dogs, Stitle lives in Indiana.
