On The Table Read Magazine, “the best arts and entertainment magazine UK“, The Aces keep the party going with their sparkling deluxe album ‘Gold Star Baby: After Hours,’ just in time for their massive North American arena tour supporting Louis Tomlinson this summer.
The Aces are extending the celebration of their acclaimed album Gold Star Baby with the release of the deluxe edition, Gold Star Baby: After Hours. The expanded project keeps the dance floor alive with fresh material while the band prepares for a high-profile North American arena tour supporting Louis Tomlinson this June.

Fresh Additions to Keep the Party Going
The deluxe version features three new tracks that maintain the original album’s vibrant energy. These include the sharp diss track “Square One,” the uplifting “Can’t Wait,” and a club-ready remix of “The Magic” produced by band member Katie Henderson. The band aimed to give fans one more memorable night with the Gold Star Baby era, blending a touch of heartbreak with plenty of disco grooves. The result is a collection that proves great moments can happen well after midnight.

A Concept Album Built for Joy and Escapism
Originally released in August 2025 via SoundOn, Gold Star Baby is a playful concept album that imagines a metaphorical nightclub open to everyone. The record celebrates queerness, sapphic energy, and joyful disco-pop without taking itself too seriously. Critics and fans embraced both the album and the band’s energetic live shows. Publications such as Rolling Stone, Billboard, People Magazine, Cosmopolitan, SPIN, and Ladygunn praised the project, highlighting its infectious spirit and cultural resonance.

Band Evolution and Milestones
Since first releasing music in 2017, The Aces—composed of sisters Cristal Ramirez (lead vocals/guitar) and Alisa Ramirez (drums), Katie Henderson (lead guitar/vocals), and McKenna Petty (bass)—have grown significantly. With four albums and more than 250 million streams worldwide, the group has carved out a distinct space in the pop-rock landscape.
Reviewers have noted the band’s evolution. Billboard described the original album as “12 immaculately curated disco-pop jams,” while SPIN called it a turning point for a group that defies easy genre categorization. The Aces have built their reputation through extensive touring and festival appearances, sharing stages with artists including 5 Seconds of Summer, X Ambassadors, The Vamps, COIN, Chappell Roan, and Goth Babe. They have performed at major events such as NY Pride, Lollapalooza, All Things Go, Firefly, Bonnaroo, OUTFEST, Sziget, and Pukkelpop. Their 2023 headline tour sold out venues across the UK, Australia, and Japan.
