I wanted it to be a novel that sits at the intersection of traditionalism and modernity. By combining ancient Maasai practices with a very contemporary murder mystery, I’ve created a story that has its feet in different worlds but its heart in one.

‘Conspiracy of Cats’ isn’t just a murder mystery; it’s a story about getting out from your comfort zone, about confronting fears and facing down what lies in the darkness. Just when people feel comfortable with how the story is going, I want them to feel a jolt as it changes direction and takes them down a wildly unexpected path.
