Sadye Releases New Dark Pop Single, Biblical

On The Table Read Magazine, “the best entertainment magazine in the UK“, the new single from Sadye, Biblical, explores the feelings of going back to the same person over and over again, even though you know they’re bad for you.

Biblical

Sadye’s debut single, Biblical, is a dark pop exploration of going back to somebody you know is terrible for you, over and over again and again. Sadye described it has being caught in their web, but maybe knowing exactly what you’re doing.

This single is a kind of rebirth that builds on what has come before while moving forward without looking back. It is beautiful and catchy while also being dark and familiar, and Sadye invites listeners to join her ethereal cult and let go of their deepest inhibitions.

Sadye

Inspired by her personal battle with cancer, discovering self-esteem, and managing toxic relationships, Sadye’s lyrics are saturated with a sarcastic catharsis as she figures out how to lover her literal, and metaphorical, scars; a theme flawlessly juxtaposed against catchy, modern melodies and edgy pop production. Both ABC/HULU’s Abbott Elementary and Netflix’s Working Moms have featured her music.

With her otherworldly mystique and uncompromising vision, Sadye challenges listeners and infuses new life into experimental and mainstream alt-pop. Coming from humble beginnings as a singer/songwriter in a small town, Sadye writes with an authentic depth, and frequently takes on themes that are unexpectedly dark and heavy.
