Winnipeg’s JUNO Award-winning duo, The Bros. Landreth, are gearing up for the release of their fourth full-length album, Dog Ear, slated for November 14, 2025, via Birthday Cake Records. The album’s lead single, “I’ll Drive,” is out now, offering fans a taste of the band’s signature soulful harmonies and guitar-driven roots sound. The track, co-written with Grammy-nominated songwriter Jonathan Singleton, captures the essence of hitting the road with a loved one, leaving worries behind.

Dog Ear

Dog Ear is a deeply personal project for brothers Dave and Joey Landreth, exploring themes of connection, refuge, and self-reflection. The album features lush instrumentation and the band’s hallmark harmonies, elevated by notable collaborations. Bonnie Raitt lends her voice to the heartfelt track “Knuckles,” while alt-pop artist Begonia joins on “Strange Dear.” These partnerships, alongside contributions from keyboardist Glenn Patscha, add depth to the album’s intimate yet expansive sound. The record reflects the band’s thoughts on family, stability, and their role as parents, with songs like the title track written for their children.

I’ll Drive

Dog Ear draws inspiration from the brothers’ musical roots, echoing the blues of Bonnie Raitt, the funky country-rock of Little Feat, and the eclectic instrumentals of Ry Cooder, while carving out a contemporary sound.

Tour Dates and Live Performances

Ahead of the album’s release, The Bros. Landreth will perform at the Guitar Summit Festival in Mannheim, Germany, on September 26, 2025, one of Europe’s largest guitar events. Following this, they’ll embark on a U.S. tour during the album’s release week, with stops in McKinney, TX (November 21), Fort Worth, TX (November 22), Austin, TX (November 23), and Los Angeles, CA (November 26). The band has also announced two shows in Denmark for February 2026, in Aarhus (February 19) and Esbjerg (February 20), with more dates to be revealed.
