I interviewed Moses Nalocca about his life and career, what inspired him to start writing, and the work that went into his new book, More.

Tell me a bit about who you are.

I’m Moses Nalocca, Upper Echelon Coach I work with elite individuals, I’m an international speaker and Author.

When did you first WANT to write a book?

Since 2015.

When did you take a step to start writing?

1st January 2020 as a new year resolution.

How long did it take you to complete your first book from the first idea to release?

It took approximately 2 years and a half. I completed one but never published, scratched it and wrote More

What made you want to write More?

We live in a society that is in constant consciousness blindness, we are not aware of the greatness inside of each one of us. My mom raised me up teaching me not to settle and accept mediocrity. There’s more than working and paying taxes. I was moved by this desire to achieve my potential, therefore there must be more.

What were your biggest challenges with writing More?

To be open and vulnerable.

What was your research process for More?

Just dig inside me, in my heart and stored memories.

How did you plan the structure of More?

It was on a flow. What I did was, as a speaker, get in front of a mic and talk, then download the transcript and polish it. like this, I do not lose my spontaneity.

Did you get support with editing, and how much editing did More need?

Yes, my publisher help a lot. there was not much to do.

What is the first piece of writing advice you would give to anyone inspired to write a book?

Be open and authentic.

Can you give me a hint about any further books you’re planning to write?

Yes I’m planning to write 2 more this year, actually already started, about the power of coaching skills, then one more book before the end of the year about my late father.

And, finally, are your proud of your accomplishment? Was it worth the effort?

Absolutely proud. if this book can impact even one person, it was worth it.
