Replay (Lounge) is the new single and music video from Great Rapids, Michigan brought up sibling team Cal in Red, and tells the story of a close friendship that is very important and involves total trust.
Cal In Red described the song as “a tale of camaraderie that’s all dressed up to dance.”
This delectable first taste of the duo’s sophomore EP, On The Dance Floor, features pulsing beats inspired by drum machines from the 1980s, swirling synths, blazing horn solos, and atmospheric vocals.

Grand Rapids, Michigan-based brothers Connor and Kendall Wright founded the indie pop/rock band Cal In Red, in the summer of 2019, named for their youngest brother, Cal, who once had a particular attraction to red t-shirts.
The music was guitar-driven, hazy, and summery, and these early sessions’ hopeful and yearning tones gave way to an indie-pop congruence that was full of nostalgia, pleading for simpler, younger times and mourning the loss of summers past.
Cal in Red achieves a summery casualness by effortlessly combining slide vocals, guitar, and synthesizers.
