The music video for Roller Coaster, which was directed by Derrick Webb and Christopher Jackson, juxtaposes scenes of Michael Dean in love walking down the Santa Monica Pier with scenes of the artist alone on the beach thinking about his relationship.
Michael Dean, the performing name of Dean Michael Martinez, is prepared for the spotlight. The rising pop artist from Albuquerque, New Mexico, who can cover a wide range of sounds and melodies, is about to reach his peak with his upcoming album, Top Gun, due in 2023.
When Michael Dean was just nine years old, he discovered his passion for making music. He spent the majority of his life in California, from Garden Grove to Santa Ana to Anaheim. He fell in love with hip-hop music when he was a kid, listening to artists like 2pac, Nas, Eminem, and 50 Cent.
