Alice Pisano, an Italian born, London based, rising star on the contemporary pop scene. Pisano has a natural gift for writing relatable, empathetic songs that connect, and since her debut in 2019, she has made a great name for herself with  a voice that is singularly warm and silky.

One of the first 50 artists to be announced at The Great Escape Festival 2022 was Pisano, who performed two shows there. Her first single, “Celebrate Life,” was a huge hit all over the world. It was streamed more than four million times on Spotify alone.

Pisano had four singles enter the iTunes Pop charts after her successful debut, numerous radio plays on stations like the BBC, and over one million views on TikTok for her single “September.” The summer trailer for the British hit show Hollyoaks featured her single “Open Up” as the soundtrack. It goes without saying that Alice Pisano is quickly becoming one of the most exciting new pop artists.

Shattered But Still Cool

Shattered But Still Cool, her sophomore EP with five tracks, is a collection of songs about the difficulties of love and dating. Pisano conveys her vulnerabilities through honest songwriting in the most infectious and shimmering pink package.

On the EP, Pisano collaborated with well-known songwriters and producers such as Jez Ashurst (Little Mix, Maisie Peters, Tom Grennan), Anthony Goldsbrough (who toured with Ed Sheeran, Clean Bandit), Gavin Powell (who has worked with Emeli Sandè, Jake Isaac, and Dan Cox (who has worked with Laura Marling, Peter Doherty), and Anthony Goldsbrough. Shattered But Still Cool is a delightfully addictive release that showcases the singer’s impressive vocals, sugar-coated melodies, and vibrant synths. Sonically, it was inspired by Nina Nesbitt, Gabrielle Aplin, Astrid S, and Julia Michaels.

Pretty Girls

The songwriter’s very own experience is told in “Pretty Girls.” She said that she was dating someone who seemed to be very in love with her, but she found out that he was also dating other girls at the same time. When she wrote this song, she was furious and said that it was very liberating! “Pretty Girls” is the ideal way to lift one’s spirits.

This is the anthem for anyone who has been messed around by their partner or situational partner. It serves as a reminder that they are not alone and that they deserve so much better!
