Happiness, Part 2
With the release of his first two singles, Kwun has established himself as a developing artist with a stunning 13 nominations and wins for music and entertainment world honors, and earned the attention of such publications as Wonderland, Music News, Free thinker and RNR Magazine. Kwun keeps on showing his rich creative contribution with the arrival of his third single, Happiness, Part 2.
The audio-visual experience, Happiness, Part 2, highlights coordinated efforts with orchestrator Jonas Petersen (Hans Zimmer) and blend engineer Sam Wheat (Pharrell Williams, The Drifters, Amy Winehouse) as well as worldwide sound healer Yantara Jiro (Gregg Braden) and prestigious creative artist Dianne Harris (Coldcut, Future Sound of London).
Kwun composed and recorded Happiness, Part 2 after a series of meditations gave him increased clarity and connected him to this natural state of happiness and joy. He came to the profound realization that this state is actually always present in us. The music is an immediate articulation of that experience.
You might notice that the verses of the song are sung in a different language than the chorus’s English lyrics. Light Language is a one-of-a-kind language that is a powerful healing tool that can be expressed in a variety of ways with the same goal: to assist in awakening the spirit and bringing us into alignment with who we truly are.
In the song, Kwun sings Light Language, and Yantara Jiro, a pioneer in sound medicine and quantum healing, responds to the music by drawing Light Language for the videos.
Dianne Harris, an international new media artist who is also the founding director and curator of the Kinetica Museum in London, is another synchronous partner for this project and will be enhancing the audio-visual experience with her video interpretation of the song. Dianne coordinates and delivers the authority music video, the second of the 2 recordings, delivered multi week after the fact on Friday 23rd June – likewise highlighting Jiro’s Light Language. Dianne’s work aims to raise awareness of human potential by combining reality and non-reality, examining states of harmony, and investigating the vibration of matter.
Jonas Petersen, a Los Angeles-based string arranger and orchestrator who has worked with Hans Zimmer, adds another layer to the mix of collaboration.
Kwun is at the forefront of a movement of conscious artists leading the way into a New Paradigm. He is based between the UK and Mexico and weaves a rich tapestry of styles that include Rock, Americana, Funk, and everything in between. In contrast to the standard that is frequently used, which is 440 Hz, he uses 432Hz tuning to record his music, which is a frequency that is in sync with both nature and the human body.
“Happiness, Part 2” is Kwun’s most significant release to date; the song aims to inspire us to remember who we really are through an energetic transmission.
