Chris and his wife Clare worked for Best Friends Animal Society in Utah for many years to help animals in need. Chris was President and Managing Director of Testronics’ Home Entertainment Division in Los Angeles prior to joining Best Friends.

Chris has written numerous screenplays and the novels Lingering and Lifetimes (also published by Cranthorpe Millner), Far From Burden Dell, Luck, The Lodge, Legacy, Lakebed, Liner, Lucy, Logistics, and Double Down (as C J Axlerod), following in his father’s footsteps (Alec Coppel wrote Vertigo, among many other successful films).

Chris is also a skilled guitarist and drummer. He currently resides in the UK with his wife.
