Liverpool is where Dave Riverton was born and raised. Before becoming an honorary clinical lecturer for the University of Sheffield, he worked as a dentist for a number of years in Lincolnshire. After that, he worked for NHS England. He writes, organizes sporting and charity events, and volunteers for Cancer Research UK and 4×4 response.
Riverton is married and is now a grandfather. He is devoted to how the wellness of body connects to the wellness of the brain and, after some success in amateur tennis, prior to a wrist injury, he presently partakes in as many running, cycling and swimming occasions as time – and his better half and four dogs – permit.
