If You Don’t Know…
In If You Don’t Know… by Jeremy Bending, Jeff Butler is devastated by his father’s suicide. However, this bereaved son finds himself traveling to Hungary when his brother Martin asks for his assistance in determining whether there are any irregularities in his father’s bank account. There, he discovers that his father had been involved in an investigation into the sex trafficking of Roma girls, which raises the possibility that this may have been related to his death.
If You Don’t Know… takes the reader very close with the devastation that follows a suicide in the family, and the subsequent questions that a song has when everything isn’t what it initially seems to be. This fast-paced thriller transports a grief-stricken protagonist into the sinister and perilous world of sex trafficking with forensic attention to detail
