Liberty Bell, investigative reporter, is expelled from the UK when her report of a high-level paedophile ring is falsely exposed as a fraud and her work visa cancelled. There are twelve videos filmed at the notorious Hellfire Club, and they reveal the darker side of politicians and high society people on both sides of the pond. DCI Eager, equally sickened by the cover up, has had enough. He joins forces with Liberty Bell to expose the government, the crime lords of the Hellfire Club and the paedophiles who operated there.
A powerful presidential hopeful was indiscreet at the club, and he now knows a video of this exists. He makes a list of all those that may have seen it, to be cleansed. How does a Native American serial killer, ‘Chief Longbow’, come into the equation? Eager hears Liberty was possibly murdered in the Mojave Desert, so he sets off to LA to find the truth. “Throughout my life I have started stories and not had the confidence to complete them. I was 69 years old when I was shot three times in a home invasion, and a strange thing happened to me. My wife said an angel must have protected me, as every time I was shot at point blank range to the surprise of the shooter I would jump up and then he would shoot to knock me down again. When the intruder was about to administer the death shot to my head, I found a shard of glass on the floor (he had shot the window out to get in) where I was laying, somehow I managed to throw it up and hit him, this distracted him long enough so I was able to get away.
“I may be the only author of crime thrillers who has been shot, almost blown up and investigated dozens of murders.”
“I started writing stories on my dad’s wallpaper off cuttings. I was seven years old and had a passion to write but life took over and I joined the many who have a book inside them, yet never complete one. I joined the police cadets at 16 years old, then the Royal Military Police serving in Germany and Northern Ireland. The latter I was in the Special Investigation Branch dealing with murders, attempted murders, and complaints against the army.
“I emigrated to Australia and was a private detective for a while and then started my corporate career which took me to work globally for multibillion dollar corporations.
