Mnched’s founder, Lorna, said that, like all great tales, theirs begins with food. Also a lot of it. They adore everything from breakfasts to lunches to iced coffees to snacks after work and dinners.
But what exactly degrades a perfectly good meal? You guessed right: communal cutlery, wooden forks, and those dreadful “sporks” once more.

As a result, they made Mnched, and they’re pretty pleased with the result.

In order to create a travel cutlery set that will stand the test of time and make them feel all warm and fuzzy inside, they went (almost literally) to the ends of the earth to find the best materials and the most sustainable processes.

In preparation for her return to the office in the summer of 2020, Lorna’s workplace made the announcement that they would no longer provide cutlery (not that you could find a fork anyway!). As a result, she began scouring the market to find what was available. Whether it was child-sized, bamboo, or made of materials that didn’t exactly scream “hygienic,” nothing really stood out. She knew there had to be a better choice—a set that was big enough for everyday eating, looked great, and was easy to clean.

As a result, she set out to create Mnched, a sustainable, stylish, high-quality set of cutlery and straws that can be washed in a dishwasher and are ready to eat at any time.
